#53 A Cherished Teacher Terry Brown Shares Her Stories About Her Work With Gifted Children

Terry Brown is the creator of the “So Happy to Learn” program. She is passionate and gifted at teaching individuals with Down syndrome, on the autism spectrum, and others with learning challenges. She has been teaching for over 20 years. She has developed an innovative program called “So Happy to Learn” that teaches reading, writing, and math, and much more to these beautiful gifted children and adults. Mrs. Brown, as she is known lovingly by her students, works with all however her special work is educating those with special needs. She is beloved by her students and families.


In this special episode Terry Brown and I discuss her work with gifted children and the many wonderful lessons her students have taught her along the way.



We are all human beings. When you can break down those barriers and it is just me and my student, I have things to teach them and they have things to teach me. When you drop all preconceived notions of what you can and can’t do is when the magic happens.
